So that's why I decided to pull out an old idea: Paper Zombies.
The concept behind Paper Zombies is that the player would be flat. They would still act like real limbs, but flat. This had more with my inability to model than originality.
And the idea was looking good. I started making a 2D engine. I had it nearly finished. And then I dropped it.
So I've decided to pull it up out of the depths a fix it, while giving it better features.
First-off, It's going to be a Third-Person shooter by default. Naturally, I'll add in a first person mode, but I like third-person.
Secondly, it's going to be steampunk. Yep, that's right, a 3D zombie shooting steampunk game. Should be awesome.
And lastly, it's going to be open-world. Sure, I'll have a main quest, but I don't want to force people to finish it. Makes it too boring. I want to have at least 7-10 hours of gameplay.
Now some of you might be wondering if I'll finish ApocRun. And I will. In fact, I should probably finish ApocRun's engine first. I just need motivation. What you can do to help is post in the comments below.
Also, I have made a goal to update this on a weekly basis. And If I don't anybody and everybody has the right to bother and bug me until I do. Everybody.
